The
Cordillera Peoples Alliance comes out with a regular publication,
HAPIT, published in both English and Ilokano,
the regional lingua franca. “Hapit” is the rootword
of the Ifugao term “hahapitan,” which means community
dialogue. It
also comes out with an occasional journal, Pantatavalan
(Data and Discourse on the Cordillera). “Pantatavalan”
is an Ibaloy word which can be used to refer either a venue or a
subject of taval, which means discussion or discourse.
