campaigns and advocacy

Alliance work with progressive
Igorot professionals and government officials,
church leaders and members, and other organizations for the promotion
of indigenous peoples rights, human rights,
social justice and related issues.
• Formation of broad networks and alliances in support of CPA
campaigns and advocacy work on people’s issues.
• Holding of meetings, dialogues
and lobby activities with local and national government officials
and agencies on various significant
and pressing issues and concerns needing action
• Holding joint projects with other organizations and institutions
on good governance, indigenous self-governance and other relevant issues
for peoples empowerment and development
• Mobilization on major issues and events, such as the celebration
of Tribal Filipino Week, Cordillera Day, International Day of Indigenous
Peoples and National Minority Week, International Human Rights Week,
and other significant dates.
• Launching direct actions on major regional, national and international
issues.
• Sustaining particular campaigns in support to local struggles
especially on destructive and exploitative projects which have adverse
impacts to affected communities, on human rights violations and political
repression, on globalization issues, among others.
